Skylab, the United States’ first space station, was launched into orbit on May 14, 1973. Wow, that was 26 years ago. Next month, Shuttle Endeavour (ISS2J/A) is scheduled to launch on June 13 for it’s 29th U.S. mission to the International Space Station. Look how far we’ve come since Skylab was launched. It won’t be long now. Shuttle trips to spend your vacation on the moon will be here before you know it!
