Important Notice about Copyright Protection

The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving the author of the photograph the exclusive rights to reproduce your photographs. This includes the right to control the making of copies. It is illegal to copy or reproduce these photographs elsewhere without our permission, and violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties. We will try to accommodate all reasonable requests. Please feel free to discuss your needs with us so that we may have the opportunity to serve you better.

What this means:

  • Copying, scanning, saving on your computer, photographing the image, copying to myspace, facebook, etc., is violation of copyright laws.
  • If you would like an image for posting on your blog, web page, etc., you may request a web-sized image for this purpose.

Skylab, the United States’ first space station, was launched into orbit on May 14, 1973. Wow, that was 26 years ago. Next month, Shuttle Endeavour (ISS2J/A) is scheduled to launch on June 13 for it’s 29th U.S. mission to the International Space Station. Look how far we’ve come since Skylab was launched. It won’t be long now. Shuttle trips to spend your vacation on the moon will be here before you know it!

Have you looked at a photo and ‘felt’ that something wasn’t right with it? It may be that someone’s arm or leg is chopped off at the joint making them seem amputated. Zoom in or out so that the arm or leg is cropped above or below the joint, or you can include the whole limb in the photo
